    The city that best showcases Argentina's blend of Latin passion and European elegance, Buenos Aires is an incredibly vibrant city that is easy to fall in love with. Today, you'll embark on a guided tour of the city, visiting highlights such as the Plaza de Mayo, where you'll see the Casa Rosada (with its balcony made famous by Eva Peron) and the Cathedral. The city is well-known for its 'barrios' neighbourhoods) that each have a distinct lifestyle, architecture and vibe. You'll explore the colourful La Boca and Recoleta, with its opulent cemetery. This evening, experience the drama of the tango, with dinner and a show at a historic tango house.

    Day 4: Fly to Iguazú

    Transfer to the airport with a driver and fly northwards to the natural spectacle that is Iguazú Falls. Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, Iguazú Falls are the widest waterfalls in the world, their array of big and small cascades stretching 2,700 metres across. Today, you'll visit the Brazilian side of the falls with a guide, walking through the Foz do Iguaçu National Park to stand in awe at a viewpoint for a magnificent panorama of some of the most powerful cascades.

    Rise early to explore the Argentinian side of the falls with a guide. With the roar of the water in your ears, learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding nature. Follow winding trails between smaller cascades before reaching the Garganta del Diabo (Devil's Throat), the waterfall's most dramatic cataract. Then, embark on the 'Great Adventure’ – an exhilarating off-road journey through the lush rainforest of Iguazú National Park. Continue by speedboat along the river, navigating thrilling rapids before venturing close enough to the falls to truly feel the power of the cascading water.

    Transfer to the airport and fly to El Calafate, a bustling town set on the Patagonia steppe and the gateway to the dramatic landscapes of Los Glaciares National Park.

    With a guide, head deeper into Patagonia to view the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. For those feeling energetic, you can walk the last kilometre along the Los Témpanos Canal, spotting icebergs as you go, to reach the glacier viewpoint. Stretching 30 kilometres with a mouth that is five kilometres wide, the glacier terminates in Lago Argentino, where it is common to see, and hear, chunks calving off into the icy blue waters. After you’ve admired the views, take a boat ride that will take you for a closer look at the glacier wall.

    Head back into the national park to visit a ranch to learn about the history of the region's first settlers, the gaucho lifestyle and, if you wish, take a spectacular horseback ride along scenic trails that pass through some of Argentina's most majestic nature.

    Transfer to the airport and fly to San Carlos de Bariloche, a town set on the shores of the pristine Lake Nahuel Huapi, set in a dreamy surrounding of mountains and forest. Later, why not take a stroll through the Centro Civico to see the log-and-stone buildings, keeping an eye out for St Bernards with their iconic brandy barrels.

    Head into the spectacular scenery around Bariloche on the Circuito Chico, a scenic drive through the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Soar up to the height of Cerro Campanario by chair lift for mesmerising panoramas of lakes, forest and mountain tops, stop at Llao Llao to visit the San Eduardo Chapel and Puerto Pañuelo. Sweep around Lopez Bay, cross Lake Moreno and drive along Lagoon El Trébol, admiring the beauty as you go.

    Transfer to airport and fly to Mendoza, Argentina's wine capital; set in Andean foothills it is close to the foot of Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas. On arrival, transfer to Chacras de Coria, a green and tranquil town just 12 kilometres from the city.
