Explore Japan
Japan is unlike anywhere else on earth - and that's not an overstatement. It is a country where ancient Shinto ritual and bullet train precision exist side by side, where a single bowl of ramen can feel like a genuinely cultural experience, and where every detail, from temple garden to train station, is treated with a level of care that constantly surprises you. A tour here might take you through the shrine-filled streets of Kyoto, the extraordinary energy of Tokyo, and the sobering, quietly powerful memorials of Hiroshima - each one utterly different, all of them unforgettable. You'll travel with national guides and local experts who have spent their lives understanding this country, and you'll come away with a depth of experience that a week of independent travel rarely delivers.
Unwind After Your Tour
After an experience as rich and immersive as a Japan tour, the beach is a welcome and well-earned change of pace. Our Japan tours are paired with two excellent options. Okinawa, Japan's subtropical island chain to the far south, is one of Asia's most beautiful and least-known beach destinations - coral-clear water, white sand, and a culture all of its own. Dubai, reachable by a short onward flight, offers a completely different kind of escape: glamorous, warm, and alive with energy, with world-class resorts on the glittering shores of the Arabian Gulf. Both are excellent. Both, after Japan, feel very well deserved.
Fully Inclusive of Tour & Flights
Okinawa is Japan's best-kept secret. Stretching across a chain of subtropical islands far to the south of the mainland, it sits in a different climate, moves at a different pace, and has a culture and history that are distinctly its own - shaped by centuries of trade and isolation as the independent Ryukyu Kingdom, before becoming part of Japan in the late nineteenth century. Arriving here after a Japan cultural tour, the shift is immediate: warmer air, turquoise water, and a pace of life that invites you to slow right down.
The beaches are genuinely beautiful. Fine white sand, water so clear you can see the coral from the shore, and some of the finest snorkelling and diving in Asia just beneath the surface - vibrant reef systems, sea turtles, and an extraordinary variety of marine life that rewards the effort of getting in the water. Shuri Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflects the rich heritage of the Ryukyu Kingdom and is well worth a visit. The local cuisine is remarkable in its own right - lighter than mainland Japanese food, and associated with the extraordinary longevity that Okinawans are famous for. But mostly, Okinawa is a place to take it easy, enjoy the warmth, and let everything you've seen and experienced on tour settle in, at your own pace.
Dubai has a habit of exceeding expectations. You might arrive thinking you know what to expect - and leave having been surprised at every turn. Alongside the famous skyline and the world-class shopping, there's a city of real cultural depth here: ancient souks filled with spice and gold, a beautifully preserved historic quarter, and a desert on the doorstep that is vast, humbling, and not to be missed.
The beach matches the city's ambition. Dubai's Arabian Gulf coastline is warm, brilliantly clear, and home to some of the finest resort hotels in the world - places that do luxury with a level of care and attention to detail that's hard to find elsewhere. The sea is calm and inviting, the sun is virtually guaranteed, and the backdrop of that extraordinary skyline rising behind you is unlike anything else on earth. You can do as much or as little as you like here - Dubai works brilliantly as a place to explore and equally well as a place to simply unwind.
